Yea, if your trying to save a few bucks there is nothing wrong with AMD.

I just put up a short review of my new radeon card in the RVS thread if your interested in how the new ones perform.

Yea setting the affinity is cool. I always set it to one specific core when im playing rvs.

I have a Intel Qx6700 running at 3.5ghz. I have yet to bogg it down. Thinking about upgrading to the newest Intel i7, those are sick.

My friend who hooked up my new system set it up with Vista, but I have heard that it is AWFUL.. I don;t do anything on my computer other than gaming and internet so I figured it isn;t important. I have the opportunity to switch to a different operating system, should I? Or is it fine for what I do?

That's pretty decent, for me to buy those exact same parts in Canada and build it myself would come to $705CDN shipped to me w/taxes...until I get my resaler status approved anyhow, then it would be significantly cheaper. Then you could order parts from me for wholesale prices maybe ;)

Anyone who likes to check out different distros should check out Crunchbang(#!) I am running it on my Asus 1000HE. Here is the link: http://crunchbanglinux.org Tim, I think you might really dig it, so check it out. :ugeek:
